Optimum Self-Care Transformation Program

A 12-week health coaching program designed to identify and explore tangible 90-day goals that you set and create the conditions for ongoing success beyond the program. Goals can be around weight loss, your relationship to your body, increased energy, increased movement, and/or other health-related issues.

Hike Your Best Life Transformation Program

I've hiked trails around Bellingham for over 20 years. I've found that insights abound, thoughts expand, mysteries unfold, and answers come when I put foot to the trail. My strongest passion is sharing my love of nature while simultaneously helping others discover what becomes available for them when they put foot to the trail with eyes wide open.

In my Hike Your Best Life Coaching program, I’ll be your coach and guide as we explore local trails at a difficulty level that fits your desire. We'll follow a coaching routine based on your goals and we’ll take hikes that we choose together based on your ambitions, ability, and desire to explore. You can also bring your agenda of what you want to talk about. I’ll be your non-judgmental listening ear, someone to reflect back and help you uncover what you want in life, how to get it, and how to make it last. Sometimes, we'll simply notice our feet on the path and enjoy quiet in the beauty of the mountains, forests, streams, and lakes.

This program can also be experienced in a group. Hike Your Best Life Group Transformation Programs begin March 2019. Sign up with up to 5 friends (maximum group size 6). Or ask to join an existing group. Experience group hiking, group camaraderie, and the benefits of group coaching and sharing of ideas — all the while stretching your legs in a magnificent outdoor setting.

This program is for you if:

  • You are curious about getting out more on trails but have been afraid to do so alone.
  • You are inspired by the idea of movement in nature and want to experience it within the confines of a nature guide.
  • You love the idea of hiking with your girlfriends, but can’t seem to really pull that off.
  • You’re curious what your body is capable of when it comes to hiking.
  • You want the full endorphin package that comes from full immersion into nature.

Optimum Self-Care Transformation Program

Over the course of this 12-week program, you’ll receive an hour of focused coaching once per week. We’ll explore in depth your relationship with food, including what foods work best for your unique body, how to eat for maximum pleasure and digestion, who you are being when you eat, when to eat, and why you eat, including any elements of emotional eating that may be present or come up throughout the program. We’ll also focus on your relationship to your body, and how to make peace with whatever shape you are by practicing thoughtful care-taking of the one body you have.

As always the focus is on self-care and implementing the concept of moving YOU to the top of the priority list. We’ll explore breathing and relaxation practices, as well as strategies to implement more movement into your life. Discover what you want for your life as an over-40 woman, how it feels to overcome obstacles and challenges that have kept you stuck, and what life looks like when you dare to dream and create your most optimized life.

This program is for you if:

  • You want to experience accelerated progress in significant areas of your life. 
  • You are going through a transition in life (kids leaving home, retirement, job change, change in relationship status) and want to explore what’s next. This program will help you identify obstacles, fears and/or limiting beliefs that might prevent you from moving powerfully forward into the next phase of life.

We’ll put the steps into practice one at a time, and you will experience accountability, support, and inspiration as you go.

Have you struggled to let go of addictions to food, alcohol, or other substances that bring you down and keep you stuck? Do negative thoughts and guilt about the discrepancy between your private life and your public personal overwhelm you? I can help. This program is NOT a recovery program, but it can help you take steps to move confidently into a much more empowered version of yourself. 

Program participants have experienced success in the areas of sustained weight-loss, trusting bodily intuition, increased self-love and acceptance, improved exercise habits, radical shifts in ways of being with self and in the world, greater clarity on one’s purpose in life, and a greater appreciation of FUN in life.
